Congratulations on securing your VNShield plan! To fortify your Minecraft server's defenses, follow these straightforward steps for a seamless domain setup.

Step 1: Complete Your VNShield Plan Purchase

Ensure your server's security is in capable hands by successfully completing the purchase of your VNShield plan. This is the first step towards a protected and worry-free gaming experience.

Step 2: Create a CNAME Record

Once you have purchased an VNShield plan, it is necessary to create a CNAME (Canonical Name) record. Head to your domain management and set it up. As an illustration, we'll gonna use the domain rosemc.net:

• Name: mc, play or @ (If you use mc or play as the Record Name then you can connect to your Minecraft server using mc or play.rosemc.net or if you use the wildcard @ or rosemc.net then you will be able to connect to your Minecraft server using rosemc.net)
• Value: location-name.vnshield.net (We will give you the location-name and help you setting the domain up after purchase)

Step 3: Set TTL (Time to Live) to the Minimum

Boost responsiveness by setting the TTL to the lowest possible value, normally this can be 1 min if you're using Cloudflare to manage your domains. This ensures rapid updates and minimal downtime during PoPs changes.

Step 4: Consider Cloudflare for Optimal Performance

For an extra layer of security and performance, we recommend using Cloudflare as your DNS provider. It adds robust features and enhances the overall reliability of your domain setup.

Step 5: Wait for the DNS changes and enjoy

After everything is set up, wait a little while for the DNS adjustments to take effect. After propagation, VNShield is ready to give you a stronger Minecraft experience!
